David has joined Parc as COO in Jan 07.

Prior to Parc David was a Director of Atkins Investments from 2001 - 2006, with responsibility for Defence PFI/PPP projects and Defence Business Development within the Group.  From October 2002, he took on additional responsibility as Managing Director of Atkins Defence Asset Management which provides estates management services to one quarter of the MOD Estate; the business has an annual turnover of £125m and almost 600 employees.

Previously David spent 25 years in the Army where he was Chief of Staff of an infantry brigade, commanded a field artillery regiment and was a graduate, instructor and a director of the Army Staff College. 

On leaving the Army in 1987 he spent 10 years in the City working for, amongst others, Salomon Brothers, Swiss Bank and Investcorp.  He was also Managing Director for two years of a large support services company, with a turnover of £30m and 1500 employees. 

In 1997 he became involved in PFI leading the MoDeM consortium for two years in their bid to refurbish the MOD Main Building.  In January 2001 he was appointed Managing Director of the Rotch Property Group PFI business
